How do we stay joyful when times are hard? We lean on hope. Hope is a powerful thing, because hope in God does not disappoint! He is faithful to His promises, and His plans for us are always good.

That hope allows us to be patient in tribulation. We know that better things are coming. We can rest assured that our current trials will pass. They are but a temporary affliction that provide us an opportunity to lean on God and see him work mightily in our lives.

People without this hope are challenged to rejoice and have patience when things are difficult because they don't have our faithful God. Trials actually allow us to display our faith in a way that blessings sometimes don't.

Finally, through it all, don't give up on prayer. Be constant in it even when it feels like nothing is changing. God wants to speak with you, even if only to bring you His peace. He is working on your behalf, go to Him for your reassurance.

Stand firm - hope, patience, and prayer are tools that will serve you to reach your better days.
